Scouting
is a worldwide movement that has shaped the development of young
people and adults for nearly 100 years.
Over
70,000 boys and girls aged 6 to 26 years around Australia enjoy
an almost unlimited range of activities.
Scouts
Australia encourages the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual,
and emotional development of young people so they may play a constructive
role in society as responsible citizens and as members of their
local and international communities.

Challenging
outdoor activities such as bushwalking, canoeing, sailing, caving,

scuba diving all form an important part of a Rover's calendar.
Of course,
Scouting doesn't operate without the help of thousands of Volunteer
Leaders around the country. It's not all hard work - you can have
fun at the activities with the kids too!
